While options always existed, we’ve put in the effort to create a much more streamlined, versatile, and customized experience thanks to our new partnership with SyncWords!

How Does it Work?

PheedLoop provides a wide variety of streaming solutions, including its own native product called Meet & Stream as well as native integrations with platforms like Zoom and beyond. Although most events use Meet & Stream or Upload & Stream (free), we wanted to ensure captioning would be an option for events no matter which platform they chose to stream their content through.

PheedLoop’s new caption code widget is a setting per-session, where you can pop in custom code for pretty much any third-party captioning service (e.g. Interprefy, Rev, CaptionSync, etc.) and have the captions render in real-time under any streaming option you choose. It’s as simple as that!

With the SyncWords option, you configure your sessions in SyncWords, select the languages you require and when, pop the widget into PheedLoop (we will automatically customize it on our end), and watch your live captions stream in!

SyncWords is an industry-leading player in the live captioning technology space. The SyncWords team has been providing captioning services for nearly over 20 years, and the platform itself is a professional cloud-based software solution that includes auto-transcription, closed caption authoring/editing, live translation, automatic positioning of on-screen text, and automatic alignment of text to speech.

We noticed customers of ours using SyncWords through their own code customizations in PheedLoop recently and decided to formally support the amazing platform.

The SyncWords widget is dropped right into your PheedLoop session’s caption code area, and we take care of customizing the way it renders and works in your virtual event portal. We customize it to become a minimal interface that matches the theme of your own virtual event portal, and you’re ready to go!

The awesome thing about PheedLoop’s live captioning capabilities is that we’ve decided on an implementation and partnership that guarantees success for hybrid events. The SyncWords integration will allow you to provide live captions to on-site attendees via our mobile app or a dedicated screen, along with your virtual event attendees.
