As promised during our last quarterly user conference, we are bringing a brand new advanced audience interaction system to PheedLoop including a completely redesigned and upgraded live polling and audience Q&A system.

The good news is, it’s already here! As of this week, we’ve now fully launched these new systems and you’re ready to kick your audience engagement up to a whole new level!

The best part is it’s fully synced between PheedLoop’s hybrid/in-person mobile app and PheedLoop’s free virtual web app. If you’re running a virtual-only event on PheedLoop, note that you don’t have to use our native streaming and broadcasting options to benefit from these refreshed audience interaction tools. You can use any content delivery option you like!

How the New Live Polling Works

Setting up and running live polls couldn’t be simpler! Visit your backstage in the web portal, and for any session go ahead and click on the Live Polls tab. Add as many live polls as you like per session, with as many options as you like per poll. Enable/disable polls on your command, multiple at once if you want, and the polls will pop in and out in real-time for attendees right next to the chat and presence tracking areas.

Attendees simply have to select one of the options you added and in real-time they’ll see the results of the poll as votes are cast from other attendees. It’s a super interactive experience for everyone evolved. You’re welcome to set up polls in advance, or even in real-time on the fly. You can also edit polls in real-time.

How the New Live Q&A Works

The new live Q&A is even easier than live polling! Right next to each session’s chat and presence monitoring area is a new Q&A tab dedicated to questions. Questions can be asked at any time by attendees, moderated by admins, up-voted by other attendees, and responded to by admins or the session’s speakers. The responses show up in-line right under the original question as well, keeping the conversation neat, tidy, and educational.

Our brand new audience interaction tools are just the start of several more exciting updates and new features coming to make events of all types (in-person, hybrid, or virtual) so much more engaging and exciting. Even though hybrid events have been around for years, the concept and what defines them is now more mainstream than ever.
