With demand for virtual events shooting through the roof, Team PheedLoop has been investing a tremendous amount of time and resources to rapidly develop new and exciting technology to help event planners create engaging and feature-rich virtual event experiences.
Every week, we develop several new features, and we highlight just one of the most exciting ones in our weekly announcements. This week, we’re proud to formally make our native video meeting functionality available to all events using PheedLoop’s virtual exhibit hall or networking features!
Without requiring any downloads, third-party plugins, or additional cost, PheedLoop now supports something we call “PheedLoop Meet”, which allows for Skype/Zoom like video calls between two individuals at the event, straight from their private chat room.
In addition to this new powerful core functionality of face-to-face networking at any moment from the virtual event experience, some extra bells and whistles include:
- Sharing screens, really great in the particular case of an exhibitor wanting to get into a product demo or presentation in real-time
- Streaming YouTube videos live for all participants in real-time
- Blurring your background, because no one wants to see your backyard beach!
- Switching between full screen or tile view for different perspectives
- Raising your hand, great if you’re in a live presentation or for our future group chat/calling update
We are going to be releasing upgrades in the near future to support group video calls, so stay tuned!
If you’d like a demo or want to learn more, give us a shout at any time at hello@pheedloop.com or take 30 seconds and generate a request via this form.
Stay safe, and we can’t wait to see you on the show floor again!
