As of April 12th, you can upload videos directly to PheedLoop! We’ll take care of all the hosting, streaming, and soon offer advanced analytics at no extra cost!
PheedLoop’s virtual event software has been helping countless conferences and trade shows transition to virtual experiences over the last few weeks, including many planners using our free platform. We’re grateful that we have the opportunity to serve so many events, but doing so has highlighted the intense requirements event planners have to produce incredible virtual event experiences - which translates to intense responsibilities for us.
We’ve been building new features both on our live/in-person event platform and the virtual events layer faster than we ever have before. We have new features coming out every single day, based on feedback from our existing and prospective PheedLoop users alike.
Although we have countless features we’d like to highlight, we’ll take a moment to highlight an important one here that was released earlier this week.
In addition to live streaming sessions using our native service, Zoom integration, ClickMeeting integration (announced last week), or a custom tool of your choice, we realized many events have one of two requirements:
- They don’t want some (or maybe all) of their sessions to be truly live
- They want their sessions to be available on-demand
Traditionally, we’ve said that planners can use PheedLoop’s custom video embed tool to embed videos from sources like YouTube or Vimeo. As of April 12th, you can upload videos directly to PheedLoop! We’ll take care of all the hosting, streaming, and soon offer advanced analytics at no extra cost.
This allows your attendees to easily and seamlessly use the same PheedLoop virtual event portal at any time to watch sessions. Combine this with pre-roll video ads for your sponsors, and post-event monetization strategies both through PheedLoop, and you start opening some very exciting new doors.
We released over 15 other features in the last week alone to improve the experience and performance, from virtual event registration to the speaker portal system.
Let us know if you’d like to learn more about PheedLoop, or are looking for some advice around virtual events. We’re here to help. These are unprecedented times, so please stay safe, work hard, and smile! We can’t wait to see you on the show floor.
