In our pursuit of excellence, we have been constantly upgrading our Online Registration and On-site Check-in Systems. Today, we are excited to announce one of the biggest updates to our Registration system yet - the ability for event registrants to purchase additional registration tickets autonomously within their Member Portal.
In this blog post, we will explore this new feature in detail, highlighting how it benefits both event organizers and attendees. We will also discuss the technical aspects of the update, including how it takes into consideration existing registration ticketing logic.
Say Hello to the Member Portal! 👋
Before we dive into the specifics of the new feature, let's first discuss the Member Portal. The Member Portal is an upgraded version of our attendee portal, which many of our customers may be familiar with. It is a personalized, secure area where event registrants can manage their registration details and access event resources.
The Member Portal has always been a powerful tool, allowing registrants to transfer tickets and make profile updates. However, with the latest update, we have added a new level of functionality - the ability to purchase additional registration tickets.
Autonomously Purchase Additional Registration Tickets
Previously, anyone who was interested in buying an additional registration ticket after completing their initial conference registration would have needed to either create an entirely new registration or have their registration manually edited by the event admin. This process was time-consuming and often frustrating for both attendees and event organizers.
By enabling registrants to add and purchase tickets autonomously, we are providing a solution that saves time for both parties. Event admins no longer have to spend time manually editing registrations, and attendees no longer have to go through a complex process to purchase additional tickets.
This new feature makes the registration process more seamless and intuitive. Attendees can now purchase additional registration tickets in just a few clicks within their designated Member Portal. This feature provides attendees with a more convenient solution for purchasing additional registration tickets, which will ultimately improve their overall event experience.
Existing Registration Ticketing Logic
The power and complexity of PheedLoop's Registration System does not just stop at the registration process.
The system takes into consideration existing registration ticketing logic as well, so attendees can have confidence that they are purchasing the right tickets. Whether it's detecting that you are able to purchase an add-on ticket or detecting whether you have reached the ticket limit, our system ensures that attendees purchase the correct tickets.
Event registrants are also able to manage their registration receipts and invoices autonomously within the Member Portal. They can generate PDFs manually, and any new ticket purchases will be reflected in the Member Portal and associated receipts/invoices.
Please note: The Member Portal will continue to have the same functionality as before. Attendees can still transfer tickets and make profile updates. This new feature simply adds another level of functionality to the Portal, making it an even more powerful tool for attendees.

We are excited to provide our customers with this new feature, which is just the latest example of our commitment to providing the best possible event management solutions. With a seamless and intuitive registration process, attendees can easily purchase additional tickets without the need for manual intervention from the event organizer.
