As some of you may have noticed, on-site events have been a huge area of focus for us at PheedLoop over the past few months. Having powered on-site events since our launch in 2015, we’re aware that event planners are always seeking systems to help them streamline their on-site registration and check-in process. With that in mind, PheedLoop’s Product team has been hard at work improving our On-Site Registration process over the past couple months in an effort to provide a better experience for event participants.
In this blog post, we are excited to announce PheedLoop's new On-Site Registration system along with TWO upgrades to our badge printing options - Personalized Schedules and Perforated Ticket printing! With these new features, we are expanding the badge options that clients of PheedLoop can choose from while making it easier than ever for attendees to register on-site, reducing wait times and providing a more personalized attendee experience!
For the first time ever, we are allowing attendees to seamlessly register directly within our Check-in Kiosk software, eliminating the need to register on a laptop, phone, or speak with an on-site staff member.
The registration widget is intuitive and easy to use, ensuring a smooth on-site registration process for attendees. This feature is particularly useful for events that are expecting a large number of last-minute on-site registrations, as it reduces lines for badge printing, check-in, and registration. This means that attendees can spend more time enjoying the event and less time waiting in line!
PheedLoop’s check-in kiosks are easy to use and can be configured in minutes. Attendees simply enter their information and the system automatically generates a badge and registration confirmation. This feature not only saves time for attendees but also for event staff, as they can focus on other important tasks instead of processing registrations.
Personalized schedules are an essential part of any event, and PheedLoop's new on-site badge printing capabilities now allow event organizers to print personalized schedules on attendee badges! With this feature, attendees can have their personal schedule printed directly on their badges when they check-in for the event, making it easy for them to keep track of their itinerary throughout the event.
This feature is particularly useful for events with a busy schedule, as it ensures that attendees are always aware of their next event or session, especially when it comes to multi-day events or events with multiple tracks or sessions. With personalized schedules on badges, attendees can easily see their schedule for the day at a glance, eliminating the need for paper schedules or constantly checking PheedLoop’s Mobile Event App.
Another exciting feature is the ability to offer perforated tear-away tickets. Using PheedLoop's Direct Thermal Badges, event organizers can now customize the badge template to print a page of up to six perforated tickets per attendee. This feature is particularly useful for events that require physical tickets, such as drink tickets or entry tickets for social events. Event organizers can choose which tickets are to be printed on the badge at the attendee-level (based on registration type, tags and tickets), ensuring that event attendees are getting the tickets that they are entitled to.
With this feature, attendees can easily carry their event tickets with them at all times, eliminating the need for a separate physical ticket or digital tickets. It also adds a professional and organized touch to the event!
